What is Strange Hills?

It's a No Dice, No Masters game about bad people who've done bad things. People who were part of the ruling class in a tyrannical dictatorship. All that's over now, the entire world is dying, and they have to decide: will I be better now that it's all over? It's inspired by things like the Dark Sun campaign setting, the film Mad Max: Fury Road, and a lot of dark fantasy novels. It's a game about losing everything you have, and trying to redeem the one thing remaining, yourself. You play the folks who ran the show in the last city in the world, a place called Home. Well, helped run the show. The Witch Queen was the tip top of the pyramid, but she died, and with her went the city. Her power was all that held it together. So you're refugees, fleeing into the Desolation outside Home with some hangers on, some followers, some people just clumped onto your group. There's probably nothing out there, but...there could be. And there's definitely nothing left in Home worth staying there for. At least out in the wilds, you have a chance at something better.

These copies are meant for folks who haven't the means to pay for the game. I'm not judging you if you *could* pay for a copy and don't, but if you do that you make a kitten sad.

37 of these copies were sponsored by backers for the Strange Hills Kickstarter; they are all generous heroes. I'm adding 15 more to start, and will add more monthly based on sales of the game.
