Running the Basilisk

The gates are watched and goods are taxed, so what's a merchant to do?

Use the tunnels underneath the city, clearly, even though they're owned by the last of the basilisks, a deadly and lonely beast who may kill or seduce you if you're found trespassing. 

There's profit to be made though, so put together a team of hardy tunnel runners and get yourself down into the dark.
